Continued her success from the previous season, swimming in every meet for the second consecutive year … Was the Lady Tigers’ highest scorer in the 400 IM at the SEC Championships, finishing 20th in the prelims with a time of 4:30.29 … Also swam in two other events at SEC’s, including the 500 freestyle and 200 butterfly … Finished eighth in the finals of the 200 fly at the prestigious Nike Cup Invitational with a time of 2:03.30, the second-fastest time of the season by a Lady Tiger … Despite a strength in butterfly, posted the second-fastest time of the season in the 1000 free in a dual meet versus Florida State on Jan. 25 (10:28.63) … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and LSU Director’s Cup … Earned her second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2001-02)
A constant for the Lady Tigers in her freshman season as she competed in every meet including her debut at the SEC Championships … Swam in two events at the SEC Championships placing 27th in the prelims of both the 200 IM and the 200 butterfly … Won two events in LSU’s season-opening meet against Houston … Finished first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:28.61 and won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.79 … Won both the 100 and 200 fly in the conference-opener versus Arkansas … Won the 100 fly in a time of 57.73 and finished the 200 in a time of 2:03.41 … Part of the winning team in the 400 medley relay in the meet against Arkansas … Was a versatile performer as swimming in five different events during the season … Won the 200 IM at the Texas Invitational and finished second in the 200 fly … Won the 200 fly in a dual-meet at Alabama with a time of 2:04.46 … Won the 200 IM versus Tennessee and Kentucky in a time of 2:07.15 … Earned her first varsity letter.
