- NCAA Championships (Mar. 16): Finished 3rd in the 50-yard Freestyle (21.38), 10th in the 100-yard Freestyle (47.42) and 3rd in the 100-yard Butterfly (49.18).
- Big Ten Championships (Feb. 16-19): Finished 1st in the 50-yard Freestyle (21.32), 1st in the 100-yard Freestyle (47.10) and 1st in the 100-yard Butterfly (49.74).
- Ohio State (Jan. 28): Finished 2nd in the 100-yard Freestyle (48.88) and 1st in the 100-yard Backstroke (52.43).
- Wisconsin/Minnesota (Jan. 15): Finished 1st in the 100-yard Backstroke (52.73) and 1st in the 200-yard Backstroke (1:54.88).
- Minnesota Invitational (Dec. 1-4): Finished 1st in the 50-yard Freestyle (21.50), 1st in the 100-yard Freestyle (47.15) and 1st in the 100-yard Butterfly (49.97).
- Grand Valley (Nov. 6): Finished 1st in the 100-yard Breaststroke (1:05.65) and 1st in the 200-yard IM (2:01.28).
- Purdue/Missouri (Nov. 5): Finished 2nd in the 50-yard Freestyle (22.22) and 1st in the 100-yard Backstroke (51.46).
- SMU Classic (Oct. 8-9): Finished 1st in the 50-yard Freestyle (21.78), 1st in the 100-yard Freestyle (48.73) and 1st in the 100-yard Backstroke (51.09).
2020 Olympics (Tokyo)
- Represented Canada.
- Became first U-M varsity swimmer (female or male) to win three medals in a single Olympics.
- Won gold in the 100-meter butterfly, becoming the first Michigan women’s swimmer since 1964 to win gold in an individual event. Her 55.59 was a new Americas record.
- Took silver with Team Canada in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay.
- Finished with a bronze in the 4×100-meter medley relay, swimming the butterfly leg for Canada.

Full name is Margaret McNair MacNeil and goes by “Maggie”… Born on Feb. 26, 2000… Earning her master’s of science at LSU in sports management… Parents names are Dr. Susan McNair and Dr. Edward MacNeil; has one sibling – a sister named, Clara… Clara is an advanced ballet dancer and swims just like her sister… Chose LSU because “I was excited to experience a new culture, and to work with (Coach Bishop) again. Also, to get away from the snow.”
