Opened the season at Utah by placing fifth on one-meter with a score of 250.58 and fifth on three-meter with a score of 243.83… In the home opener vs. Arkansas, placed second on three-meter with a score of 319.65 and third on three-meter with a score of 297.23… During a tri-team meet with FSU and Alabama, placed eighth on three-meter (253.05) and fifth on one-meter (256.20)

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022-23)
Earned a bronze medal at the 2023 SEC Championships on platform… In a dual meet against South Carolina, placed sixth in the three-meter with a score of 289.20…also took sixth in the one-meter with a score of 261.00… In a tri-meet against Denver and Air Force, took sixth place in the one-meter with a score of 260.10…finished fifth in the three-meter with a score of 282.20. Against Auburn, finished eighth in the one-meter with a score of 241.65…placed fourth in the three-meter with a score of 288.15. Strong outing in her first meet for the Tigers against Grand Canyon with two second-place finishes on the one-meter (279.00) and three-meter (301.05)… At the Rocky Mountain Invitational, she placed third on the three-meter springboard, scoring a 312.10 and second on the one-meter springboard with a score of 282.00… Against Alabama, took second place in the one-meter with a time of 284.85 and fourth in the three-meter with a time of 287.55… At the Texas Diving Invitational, placed fifth on the 10-meter platform with a final score of 254.80… Against Tulane, had two runner-up finishes on the one-meter and three-meter springboard with scores of 301.13 and 319.73… At the Auburn Diving Invitational, claimed her first collegiate win on platform with a final score of 275.75; also nabbed a fourth-place finish on the three-meter with a score of 277.80 and 11th on the one-meter with a score of 244.30… Against Texas A&M, finished fourth on the three-meter with a final score of 307.35… At the SEC Championships, claimed 10th place on platform with a score of 233.35 and two 24th-place finishes on one-meter (220.05) and three-meter (257.70)… At the NCAA Zone D regional claimed 15th place on three-meter with a score of 602.40 (Prelims: 302.40), 10th on platform with a score of 518.50 (Prelims: 254.40) and 21st on one-meter with a score of 258.20

Full name is Maggie Lynn Buckley… Born July 2, 2003… Her hometown is Colorado Springs, CO, where she attended Rampart HS… Her mother’s name is April, and she has one sister, Ivy… Her mother played basketball and softball at Mercer University, and her sister dives… Maggie and her sister won the three-meter synchronized diving event at the 2021 AAU National Championships… She chose LSU because “I could see myself growing the most as a diver and athlete as well as having a fulfilling college experience. LSU has a history of diving achievement, a supportive team atmosphere, a beautiful campus, and endless opportunities for student-athletes.”
