JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16)
Earned NCAA Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke … Rysemus became the sixth All-American in the 100 fly and third in the in the 100 back … He was the 10th swimmer in school history to earn All-America honors in two different individual events at the same NCAA event … Lowered the school in the 100 back that was originally set in 1988 and tied in 2013 … He became the first swimmer in school history to go sub-46 in both the 100 back and 100 fly … At SEC Championships, Rysemus earned the silver medal in the 100 fly and also finished fourth in the 100 back … Swam the opening leg of the 200-medley relay team that set the school record at SEC’s with a time of 1:25.92 … Took first in the 100 fly and finished second in the 100 back against Texas A&M … Earned wins in both the 100 back and 100 fly against Missouri … Touched the wall first in the 100 back and second in the 100 fly against Virginia Tech and Kentucky … Won both the 100 back and 100 fly at the Art Adamson Invitational hosted by Texas A&M … Named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team … SEC Academic Honor Roll Member … At the annual team banquet, earned the stripes award, earned the hammer award and named the men’s team MVP as well as the most improved … Earned his third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-15)
Made it to NCAA Championships as a relay participant … Set the second-fastest 100 back time in school history (46.48) in the opening leg of the 400-medley relay at SEC Championships … That relay team also set the school record at the conference championships … Finished fourth in the 100 back ‘B’ final at SEC’s … Also touched the wall fourth in the ‘C’ final of the 100 fly … Set the ninth-fastest 200 IM time in school history during prelims of the event at SEC’s … Finished second in the consolation final of the 200 IM at the Texas A&M Invite … Touched the wall fourth in the championship final of the 100 fly and 100 back at midseason … Finished third in the 100 back against Florida … Touched the wall fourth in the 100 fly and 100 back against SMU … Posted a second place finish in the 100 back against Tennessee … Named to the SEC Academic Honor … Earned his second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-14)
Newcomer that owns three times on LSU’s Top 10 list … Finished 14th overall in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly at the SEC Championships … Set the fourth-fastest 100 back (47.38), fourth-fastest 100 fly (47.15) and 10th-fastest 200 back (1:46.03) in program history during preliminaries at the SEC’s … Against SMU, touched the wall second in the 200 fly (1:49.00) … Finished eighth overall at the Texas A&M Invite in the 200 back … Collected a seventh place finish in the 100 fly at the A&M Invite with a mark of 49.34 … Named the Newcomer of the Year on the men’s side during the team’s annual award banquet … Earned his first varsity letter.

Two-time individual state champion in the 200 IM … Paced his team to the 2012 state championship … Holds school records in the 100M fly, 200M IM, 200Y IM, 100 back, and 500 free events … Placed ninth in the 100 backstroke at the 2013 USA Swimming Junior National Championships … … Coached by David Baughman.
