REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
Opened the season in a tri-team meet vs. FSU and Alabama, placing 12th in the 200-back (1:58.66)… At the midseason meet in the Art Adamson Invitational, claimed 14th place in the 100-back (51.15) and 19th in the 200-back (1:54.82)… In a meet vs. Texas A&M, finished eighth in the 100-back (52.38) and 200-back (1:56.73)… In the regular-season finale vs. Tennessee, placed eighth in the 100-back (52.25) and seventh in the 200-back (1:56.45)

FRESHMAN SEASON (2022-23)
In the tri-team meet with Denver and Air Force, claimed 12th place in the 100-back with a time of 55.93 and 12th in the 200-back with a time of 2:04.59… Against Auburn, clocked a time of 54.24 in the 100-back… Against Alabama, lowered his 100-back time to 53.87

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at University Lab School on LSU’s campus before moving to the college ranks… Earned four varsity letters over the course of his high school career… Was a seven-time All-State swimmer and LHSAA Division III champion in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay… Was also runner-up in the 200 free and third in the 100 back… Swam for Tiger Aquatic Swim Team

Full name is Kilian Rhys Bishop… Born on Sept. 15, 2003… Son of current LSU swimming head coach Rick Bishop; mother’s name is Pamela; has two brothers – Liam and Aidan… Coach Bishop swam in college at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst… Chose LSU because “the team and coaches were all very inviting and friendly. The team atmosphere and chemistry during meets are unmatched and are something I wanted to be a part of.”
