Leaves LSU as the most decorated swimmer in recent program history … His four individual school records (200 freestyle, 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 butterfly) are more than any other swimmer … Also part of two relay records during his time as a Tiger … Earned six All-America accolades during his career, including First-team honors in the 400-yard individual medley as a sophomore … Also claimed the third-place medal in that race at the 2007 SEC Championships … Voted the 2009 SEC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the SEC coaches for his outstanding accomplishments, both in the pool and in the classroom … Held the team’s fastest times in an astounding six races as both a freshman and sophomore … Led the Tigers in five events as a junior and four as a senior … Recipient of the program’s Most Outstanding Swimmer Award in 2007 … Received SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition in every year of his career.

SENIOR SEASON (2008-09)
Wrapped up his phenomenal career with six additional school-record times and three more All-America honors … Also named the 2009 SEC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the league office … Helped the men’s 200-yard freestyle relay squad claim honorable mention All-America honors with a 12th-place finish (1:18.50) at the NCAA Championships … Also a part of the Tigers’ All-America 400 freestyle and 200 medley relay teams … Shattered his own school record in the 200 individual medley at NCAA’s with a mark of 1:44.88 to finish 27th … Improved his school-record time in the 200 butterfly as well with a time of 1:44.96 to place 28th … Also competed in the 400 individual medley at NCAA’s, recording the 15th-fastest preliminary time, 3:46.03 … Swam a program-record time of 3:45.10 in a 400 IM time trial at Georgia’s Last Chance Meet to secure the 13th seed in the event at NCAA’s … Also swam the third leg of the school’s record-breaking 200 freestyle relay squad (1:17.82) at the same meet … Spearheaded his 800 freestyle relay team to a sixth-place finish and school-record time of 6:28.83 at the SEC Championships … His lead-off 200-yard freestyle split in that race of 1:36.09 broke a nine-year-old school mark … Tied for seventh in the 400 IM at the conference meet with a time of 3:50.57 … Also posted a top-16 finish in the 200 fly, placing 13th with a mark of 1:46.29 … Recorded a personal best in the 200 breaststroke at Texas A&M’s Art Adamson Invitational with a mark of 2:00.36 to finish seventh overall … Registered a sixth-place finish in the 200 fly (1:48.82) at the same competition …  Also finished with a pair of top-eight finishes in the 200 and 400 IMs … Proved to be the Tigers’ top performer in dual-meet competition, tallying a team-high 16 victories in individual races … Swept his individual events in a victory over No. 24 Kentucky, winning the 200 butterfly, 200 IM and 200 breaststroke … Also won all three of those races in a big win on the road at Texas A&M … Emerged victorious in the 200 fly and 200 IM in a key victory over No. 18 Florida State … Delivered three wins at the LSU Invitational and a pair of victories on Senior Day against Delta State … Claimed first-place in the 200 IM against No. 3 Florida, Alabama and Florida Atlantic … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the fourth straight season.

JUNIOR SEASON (2007-08)
Concluded another sensational year, recording team-best times for the season in five different events … Emerged victorious in a team-high 19 individual races during the year … Anchored three winning relay teams and two runner-up squads throughout the season … Swam the 400 IM in an NCAA ‘B’ cut clocking of 3:52.54 to collect 13th place at the SEC Championships … Helped the 800 freestyle relay squad reach seventh at the SEC’s … Tallied 20 points for the men’s team with a victory in the 500 free (4:26.23) at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Also played a role on three winning relay teams at the same meet … Swept his individual contests in a dual-meet win over Alabama … Took home titles in the 200 free, 200 fly and 200 IM against No. 22 Notre Dame … Captured first-place finishes in three individual events and posted a team season-best mark of 1:48.60 in the 200 fly versus Florida State … Swept both of his races against Delta State … Recorded  18 points with victories in the 200 free (1:40.83) and 400 IM (4:01.88) in the team’s near upset of No. 2 Stanford … Notched first-place finishes in both the 200 free and 400 IM  in a dual-meet victory over No. 18 Texas A&M … Won both the 200 free (1:40.71) and 200 fly (1:52.04) events versus South Carolina … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006-07)
Emerged as one of the top swimmers in school history and one of the elite swimmers in the nation … Wrapped up the year with more school records than any swimmer in the history of the program … Shattered three school records during the season, including his own mark in the 400 individual medley … Tallied all 15 points for the Tigers at the NCAA Championships highlighted by first-team All-America honors in the 400 IM and honorable mention All-America accolades in the 200 butterfly … Broke the 400 IM school record in the prelims at NCAA’s (3:45.77) … Then took seventh place in the 400 IM championship final (3:47.76) … Bested his own 200 fly school record from earlier in the season in the prelims at NCAA’s (1:45.26) … Finished sixth in the consolation final of that event in a time of 1:45.65 … Was one place shy of earning All-America honors in the 200 IM, finishing 17th in the prelims and improving on his school record (1:46.28) … Originally shattered all three records at the Last Chance Bulldog Invitational … Overtook Jarrod Marrs’ 200 IM clocking of 1:48.07 set in 1998 … Claimed Maurico Cunha’s 200 fly time of 1:46.75 set in 1996 … Recorded the sixth-fastest 200 breaststroke time at the invite (2:00.54) … Became a third-place medalist in the 400 IM at the SEC Championships (3:50.45) … Finished fifth in the 200 fly SEC championship final (1:46.56) and took second in the 500 free consolation final (11th overall) in a time of 4:24.99 … A leader in relays at the conference meet highlighted by a fifth-place mark in the 200 free relay (1:20.10) … Spearheaded the Tigers to a team title at the Art Adamson Invitational with three individual wins, three NCAA provisional cuts and two victorious relays … Took first place in the championship finals of the 200 free, 500 free and 200 fly at that meet … Won a team-high 11 events in dual-meet competition and posted multiple first-place showings in six meets … Named SEC Male Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 17 after leading LSU to an upset of No. 10 Florida State … Became the first LSU swimmer to receive that award since Evan Martinec did so on Jan. 26, 2004 … Won three individual events against the Seminoles and helped the Tigers clinch the upset with first place in the 200 free relay … Named LSU Male Athlete of the Week a record three times during the year … Earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the second straight season … Received his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2005-06)
Became one of the most dominant freshman swimmers in school history and led the Tigers at the NCAA and SEC Championships … Proved to be the top swimmer on the team, setting a school record in the 400 individual medley in his first year and etching his name into the school’s all-time top 10 in an incredible five more events … Held team-best times in five events on the year and was a leader in all three free relays … Shattered an 11-year-old school record in the 400 IM at NCAA’s, swimming a time of 3:49.38 in the prelims to qualify for the consolation final … Overtook the previous record held by Nate Thompson (1995) by nearly two seconds … Earned honorable mention All-America honors by finishing 15th overall in the 400 IM finals (3:50.53) … Took 23rd in the 200 fly at NCAA’s (1:48.19) … Opened the meet with the second-fastest 200 IM time in LSU history (1:48.15), which was .08 seconds off the school record … The time earned him a 33rd-place finish in the event … LSU’s high-point scorer at SEC’s, qualifying for finals in three events … Recorded the fourth-best mark in school history in a 10th-place finish in the 200 fly at SEC’s (1:48.03) … Finished fifth in the championship final of the 400 IM at SEC’s (3:51.70) and was sixth overall in the 500 free with the second-best time in school history (4:23.38) … Participated in four events at the U.S. Spring National Championships, including the 200 and 400-meter freestyle, the 400-meter IM and the 100-meter butterfly … Racked up 11 wins in dual-meet competition, including hat tricks in three meets … Won three events at the Texas A&M Invitational … Made his debut against No. 1 Auburn on Oct. 21 and wasted little time in making an impact by swimming the second-fastest clocking in school history in the 1000 free (9:23.32) … Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll … Earned his first varsity letter.
