SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024-25)
Qualified for NCAA Championships in 200-free, 500-free, and as a part of the 200-free relay squad … At NCAAs finished eighth in 500-free with a personal best (4:10.55) and the relay squad took 19th in 200-free relay thanks to his personal best leadoff (1:32.59) … In season opener against Texas notched third in 200-free (1:35.67) and sixth in 500-free (4:26.01) … In quad-meet against Navy, George Mason, and Loyola placed seventh in 200-free (1:41.13) and 12th in 500-free (4:41.36) … Finished seventh in 200-free (1:37.22) against Alabama and Florida State … At midseasons took fifth in 200-free (1:34.25), fourth in 500-free (4:14.43), and fourth in 1650-free with a personal best (14:50.90) … Took top spot against Texas A&M in 200-free (1:35.74) and placed fifth in 500-free (4:25.78) … At SEC Championships finished 21st in 200-free (1:33.84), 12th in 500-free (4:12.59), and 25th in 1650-free (15:04.79).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
Invited to the NCAA Championships in his first season to compete in the 500-free (27th – 4:15.78) and 200-free (36th – 1:33.61; second-best time in LSU history)… Holds the LSU record in the 500-free after breaking the 12-year-old record with a time of 4:13.93 at the SEC Championships… Opened up his freshman season in a tri-team meet with FSU and Alabama by placing ninth in the 200-fly (1:55.04), fourth in the 500-free (4:31.12) and third in the 200-free (1:38.71)… At the Tiger’s midseason meet, placed first in the 200-free (1:35.93), eighth in the 500-free (4:31.70), and sixth in the 100-free (44.45)… Against Texas A&M, claimed seventh in the 200-free (1:39.91), eighth in the 200-fly (1:57.25), and eighth in the 500-free (4:33.55)… At Tennessee, had two second place finishes in the 200-free (1:36.23) and 500-free (4:23.01)… At the 2024 SEC Championships, placed eighth in the 500-free (4:15.70), 12th in the 200-free (1:34.06), and 11th in the 1,650 free (14:57.99 – second-best in LSU history)

Born on September 29, 2003, in Bosnia… Planned major heading into his first year at LSU is kinesiology… Has one sibling, Lana, and his parent’s names are Branislav and Natasa… He chose LSU because “the coaches are very nice and so is everyone else in the program, plus the people around campus.”
