SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022-23)
In the opening meet against Vanderbilt and Tulane… In a tri-meet with Denver and Air Force, won the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 55.36. Against Auburn, swam the first leg on the sixth-place finishing 200-yard medley relay with a total time of 1:43.81…claimed sixth place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.77.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2021-22 – from USC)
At Pac-12’s, finished 8th in the 200y back (1:55.82), 22nd in the 50y free (22.74) and helped the Trojans to a second place finish in the 400y medley relay (backstroke leg)
HIGH SCHOOL
World Champion Jade Hannah prepped under coach Ben Titley while representing the Canadian National Team before arriving at USC … At the Budapest 2019 FINA World Junior Championships, Hannah won gold in the 100-m and 200-m backstroke with a personal best time in the 200-m backstroke. She also captured silver in the 50-m backstroke in a personal best time. Hannah was a member of the women’s 4×100-m medley and mixed 4×100-m medley relays that brought home bronze medal … At the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Hannah finished seventh in the 50-m backstroke and eighth in the 100-m backstroke … Won two gold medals at the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships in the 50-m backstroke and in the women’s 4×100-m medley relay where she swam the backstroke leg. Hannah also added a bronze medal in the 100-m backstroke … At the 2017 Canadian Swimming Trials in Victoria, Hannah claimed the bronze medal in the 50-m backstroke

Full name is Jade Savannah Hannah; nicknamed “J”… Born on Jan. 24, 2002 in Victoria, BC… Planned major upon arriving to LSU’s campus is kinesiology… Her mother’s name is Tracy, who went to the Canada Games and swam varsity… Chose LSU because of “The friendly Southern hospitality. Combined with the academics, the positive team dynamic and to be able to work with Rick Bishop, who has produced several Olympians and the amazing coaching staff at LSU.”
