Stepped up in the postseason to become the top 200 flyer in the program’s history … Became LSU’s third NCAA All-American in the 200 butterfly and picked up his first career NCAA Honorable Mention All-American honor after swimming an LSU record time of 1:44.06 in a 12th place finish at the national championships … Registered a seventh place swim in the 200 fly (1:44.58) at SEC’s … Had his hand on two program record relays, the 800 freestyle relay (6:25.67) and the 400 medley relay (3:10.42) at the SEC Championships and competed on three relays at the national meet … Swam LSU’s third best all-time 100 fly of 47.16 at the SEC Championships in a 13th place finish and came in just .07 seconds slower in a 31st place swim at NCAA’s … Clocked in LSU’s third fastest all-time 200 freestyle swim of 1:36.48 in a 19th place swim at SEC’s … Recorded all of his midseason lows at the Phil Hansel invitational … Shined at the midseason meet with wins in the 100 fly (48.16) and the 200 fly (1:46.28) … Totaled victories in four of the five dual meets he competed in … Logged a victory in the 200 fly (1:48.81) in a dual with Texas A&M … Secured victory in the 200 fly (1:48.73) in dual victory over Alabama … Chipped in a key victory in the 200 fly (1:51.49) in a 161-139 road win over SMU … Raced to a first place swim in the 200 fly (1:50.13) in a victory over Kentucky … Came in second in the fly events against Auburn … Named to the 2013 SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2011-12)
Immediately made his presence felt in his rookie campaign and established himself as an athlete to watch … Led the team in three individual events and was a part of the team’s four fastest relays this season … Earned a bronze model in the 200 butterfly with program’s all-time second fastest mark of 1:45.03 at the SEC Championships … Named to the SEC All-Freshman Team for being the highest finishing freshman in the 200 fly … Swam to 11th in the 100 fly with a mark of 48.02 at the conference meet, which was the seventh fastest in the program’s annals … Narrowly missed a final swim with a 17th place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:38.53) at SEC’s … At SEC’s, swam in the season lows in the 200 free relay (1:19.33), the 400 free relay (2:56.20), the 800 free relay (6:28.75) and the 400 medley relay (3:11.83) … Also competed in the Tennessee Invitational, the Bulldog Last Chance Meet and every dual meet … Registered a second place finish in the 100 fly (48.37), a third place finish in the 200 fly (1:47.81) and a fifth place finish in the 200 free (1:39.66) at the Tennessee Invitational … Won the 200 fly (1:48.88) in a two-point victory over Alabama … Received his first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
