In season opening meet against Texas placed fifth in 200-IM (1:51.30) and seventh in 200-fly (1:50.47) … Against Navy, George Mason, and Loyola took fourth in 200-fly (1:50.62), fifth in 200-IM (1:53.65), and eighth in 200-breast (2:08.25) … Notched seventh in 200-fly (1:48.90) and in 200-IM (1:49.26) against Alabama and Florida State … At midseasons finished 16th in 200-fly (1:48.03), 19th in 200-IM with a personal best (1:47.83), and 13th in 400-IM with a personal best (3:51.58) … Placed fifth in 200-fly (1:49.24) and in 200-IM (1:50.82) against Texas A&M … At SEC Championships took set a personal best in prelims of 200-fly (1:47.10)

Full name is Collin Parker Quickstad… Born on Nov. 4, 2005… A native of Keller, Texas… Planned major when arriving on LSU’s campus is finance… His parents are Lora & Bob Quickstad; he has three siblings – Nate, Blake, and Gavin… His mother is a marathon runner, and his dad was a marathon runner and cyclist… Chose LSU because “I love Louisiana’s culture, and the swimming and diving team has a great program.”
