JUNIOR SEASON (2003-04)
Came on strong towards the end of the season and qualified for the NCAA Championships … Captured honorable mention All-American honors in the 200 and 400 medley relay with Evan Martinec, Chris Stanczyk and Neil Lowe … Helped the Tigers finish fifth in the consolation final of the 400 medley relay at NCAA’s (3:36.46) and second in the consolation final of the 200 medley relay (1:38.59) … Overall, the relay teams placed 10th and 12th, respectively … Nearly qualified for the finals of the 100 breaststroke at NCAA’s, swimming a time of 1:01.25 in the prelims to finish 23rd … Also participated in the 200 breaststroke at NCAA’s (2:12.69) … Owned two top times on the season — backstroke events — with both of them being recorded at the SEC Championships … Teamed to shatter the school record in the 400 medley relay at SEC’s (3:12.35), while earning All-SEC honors and a NCAA “A” cut time … Placed second in that relay behind national champion Auburn … Became the first relay team in school history to earn All-SEC honors since 1991 … Also broke the school record in the 200 medley relay, finishing third with a NCAA “B” cut time of 1:27.35 … Recorded the fourth-fastest time in school history in the 200 breast (1:58.71), placing fifth in the SEC Championship final … Also registered an all-time top 10 time in the 100 breast at SEC’s, placing sixth in the finals with a time of 54.77 … Time was the sixth-best in school history … Won the 200 breast in the home finale versus Florida State on Jan. 31 … Maintained a 4.0 GPA to make the Dean’s List and SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
Three-year standout at Soders la Hsgymnasiet … Won four senior national gold medals and 16 junior national gold medals in three years … Captured one bronze medal in the European Junior Championships.
