JUNIOR SEASON (2002-03)
A steady performer in the freestyle for the Tigers … Posted the second-best time in school history in the 200 freestyle, 1:37.03, at the SEC Championships … Finished 16th in the finals of the 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships … Was the Tigers’ second-highest finisher in the 100 freestyle at SEC’s, placing 18th in the prelims with a time of 45.07 … Teamed with Matthew Rucker, Mike Jotautas and Francisco Paez to finish fourth in the 400 freestyle relay at the SEC Championships (2:59.11) … Also swam in the 200 freestyle relay and finished fourth in the finals (1:19.84) … Won the 200 freestyle at Florida State (1:40.86) … Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001-02)
Swam in every regular season meet for the Tigers and competed at the SEC Championships for the second straight season … Placed 31st in the 50 freestyle at the SEC’s with a time of 21.01 … Made the finals of the 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships with a time of 1:50.99 … Also placed 13th in the finals of the 100 freestyle at the meet with a time of 45.06 … Had the team’s best time in both the 100 and 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships, with a time of 45.00 in the 100 and 1:38.43 in the 200 … Named the team’s “Most Improved Male” by the coaching staff at the team’s annual banquet … Time in the 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships was the fifth-best in school history … Earned his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2000-01)
Traveled to the SEC Championships as a freshman and competed in both the 50 and 200 freestyle competitions as well as the 800 freestyle relay event … Scored for the Tigers at the SEC Championships with a top-16 finish in the 200 freestyle competition … Recorded the team’s fastest time of the season in the 200 freestyle with a mark of 1:39.43 … Maintained a 3.5 grade point average … Earned his first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
Named the Most Valuable Performer three years at Waukesha South High School … Two-time Wisconsin state champion in the 200 freestyle event … Broke the 22-year old state record in the 200 freestyle his senior season … Holds multiple school swimming records … Holds the Wisconsin club record in the 200 freestyle competition.
