SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023-24)
Opened the season at Utah, and took seventh place in the 100-back with a time of 58.38… In the home opener vs. Arkansas, claimed fourth in the 100-fly (57.31) and sixth in the 100-back (57.83)… In the Tiger’s midseason meet at the Art Adamson Invitational, placed 12th in the 100-fly (54.76), 29th in the 100-back (55.13), and 23rd in the 200-fly (2:04.38)
FRESHMAN SEASON (2022-23)
In the opening meet against Tulane and Vanderbilt, finished fifth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:04.80…was the runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly with a readout of 56.34… In a tri-meet with Denver and Air Force, finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.42…claimed silver in the 200-yard butterfly with a readout of 2:04.54… In a dual meet with Auburn, finished seventh in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:03.48…took sixth place in the 100-yard butterfly with a readout of 55.75… Against Alabama, took sixth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:04.78…was fourth in the 100-yard butterfly with a readout of 55.80…claimed fifth place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:05.61…At the Art Adamson Invitational, claimed 31st place in the 200-IM (2:05.33 – Prelims: 2:04.27), 17th in the 100-fly (54.12), 14th in the 100-back (55.01 – Prelims: 54.76), and 27th in the 200-fly (2:04.39)… Against FSU, placed eighth in the 200-fly with a time of 2:09.13… In the regular-season finale vs. Texas A&M, took fourth place in the 100-fly (55.45), seventh in the 100-back (57.06) and eighth in the 200-IM (2:09.74)… At the 2023 SEC Championships, claimed 43rd place in the 200-fly (2:07.17), 45th in the 100-fly (54.93) and 57th in the 200-IM (2:05.82)

Full name is Chloe James Song and goes by “CJ”… Was born on Nov. 29, 2004, in Leominster… Parents names are Anne and Darryl Song; has one sibling – a sister named Isabella… Isabella is an NAIA National champion and record holder for the 200 IM… Planned major upon arriving to LSU is mathematics… Chose LSU “to further my swimming career in a competitive environment with a great coaching staff and amazing teammates.”
