SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023-24)
Led off the 200-free relay and 800-free relay at the 2024 NCAA Championships, going 19.85 in his 50-free split and 3:07.49 in his 200-free split… Opened the season at Utah, placed second in the 200-free with a time of 1:39.54 and placed third in the 100-free with a time of 45.69; also a part of the winning 400-yard free relay team that clocked a time of 3:01.38… In a tri-team meet with FSU and Alabama, placed fourth in the 200-free (1:38.80), ninth in the 50-free (20.79), and fifth in the 100-free (45.18)… At the 2023 Art Adamson Invitational, he placed 3rd in the 100-free (44.01), 2nd in the 200-free (1:36.14), and 10th in the 50-free (20.32)… Against Texas A&M, he claimed 3rd place in the 200-free (1:37.48) and had two sixth-place finishes in the 50-free (20.89) and 100-free (45.30)… Against Tennessee, he finished in 3rd in the 100-free (45.09) and 7th in the 200-free (1:38.75)… At the 2024 SEC Championships, placed 24th in the 200-free (1:36.22), 30th in the 100-free (43.60) and 38th in the 50-free (20.00)
FRESHMAN SEASON (2022-23)
In a dual meet against South Carolina, claimed second in both the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.18 and the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:39.92… For a tri-meet with Denver and Air Force, finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.54 and third in the 100-yard freestyle with a readout of 45.27… Against Auburn, notched two sixth-place finishes in the 100-free and 200-free with respective times of 45.21 and 1:38.96… In the second consecutive SEC dual meet – this time vs. Alabama – claimed third in the 100-free (44.33) and fourth in the 200-free (1:38.67)… At the Tigers’ midseason meet, placed 25th in the 50-free (20.28), 12th in the 200-free (1:37.02), and 12th in the 100-free (44.20 – Prelims: 44.19)… Against FSU, won the 200-free with a time of 1:37.88; also claimed fourth in the 100-free (45.22) and fifth in the 50-free (20.83)… In the regular-season finale against Texas A&M, place second in the 200-free (1:37.67) and third in the 100-free (44.84)… At the 2023 SEC Championships, finished in 29th place in the 200-free (1:36.36), 38th place in the 100-free (44.04), and 40th in the 50-free (20.18)

Prepped at Clear Springs HS in League City, TX, where he earned All-State first-team honors in back-to-back seasons (2021-22)… Owns seven team records for his alma mater and lettered all four years… Named a member of the National Honor Society… Was a four-year superintendent scholar

Born September 22, 2003… Native of Houston, TX, who plans to major in computer engineering upon his arrival to LSU’s campus… Parents names are Kimberly and Glen; has one sister – Allison… Chose LSU because “I really liked the coaches and the team atmosphere. I know being surrounded by everyone here will push me to be my best in the pool and in the classroom.”
