Prepped at Robinson Secondary School and Fairfax County Virginia… Was named a Scholastic All-American for his performance in the classroom and in the pool… Earned All-American honors in the pool for the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke… Closed his high school career with two VHSL Class 6 State Runner-up finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke

Full name is Andrew Ryan Bolz and he was born on October 19, 2004, in Fairfax County, Virginia… Planned major going into his first year at LSU is business… Has one sibling, – a sister – named Abby, and his parent’s names are Ryan and Jennifer… An interesting fact: he has a love for music and playing soccer and when he is finished with his collegiate swimming career, he plans to follow his family’s footsteps by becoming a commercial airline pilot… His father and uncles swam in high school in the Woodlands, Texas, and his uncle swam for the United States Coast Guard Academy for four years… He chose LSU because “of the historic culture and the success I am seeing the coaches bring to the team. I wanted to further grow the swimming program at the school and continue its success in the SEC. Geaux Tigers!”
