“Marie had an injury plagued year last year, and that continued with a knee injury in the spring that will sideline her until the opening of fall camp. She’s certainly had some bad luck with injuries in her time at LSU. Marie’s a great kid from a wonderful family, and has shown that she can return to fitness quickly and will need to again this fall.”
 
JUNIOR SEASON (2006)
Saw action in four matches during her junior campaign … Took the field against UL-Lafayette (Aug. 29), Sam Houston State (Sept. 1) and Houston (Sept. 3) during the non-conference schedule … Also made an appearance in one conference match at Georgia on Oct. 8 … Earned her third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005)
Played in 13 games while starting in five in her first season back from a torn ACL … Made four starts in SEC play … Finished the season with three shots and two shots on goal … Earned her second varsity letter.
 
FRESHMAN SEASON (2004)
Played in 11 games getting the starting nod in four as a midfielder … Had an asist and a shot … Her season was cut short when she tore her anterior cruciate ligament against Gerogia on Oct. 8 … Earned her first varsity letter.
 
PRIOR TO LSU
Served as team captain of her team at Buchholz High School in 2003 and 2004 … Concluded a decorated senior season in 2004 by being named Second-Team All-State and a a Florida All-Star selection … Was a three-time member of the Florida State Olympic Development Program Team … Played club soccer for Black Watch Soccer Club.
