COACH LEE ON IVER:
“Leeza is a technically gifted player who had some glowing moments as a freshman. She sat out the spring and will rejoin us as a key reserve in the fall. Leeza needs to find daily consistency and dependability to be a factor for us in 2006.”

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006)
Appeared in 10 games in 2006 as a key reserve on one of the SEC’s most talented midfield units … Made seven appearances in conference play … Displayed a tremendous serving ability on corner kicks … Recorded an assist off of a corner kick in LSU’s 3-0 shutout of South Alabama on Sept. 15 … Also recorded an assist in the Tigers’ 2-1 win over Southern Miss on Sept. 17 … Finished the season with two points … Earned her second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2005)
Appeared in 18 games as a freshman while starting in 13 at her midfielder position … Started in all 10 games she appeared in SEC play … Recorded an assist on a corner kick in LSU’s 4-0 shutout of Jackson State on Sept. 11 … Earned her first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
Member of the Louisiana State Olympic Developmental Program Team and the Region III ODP Team Pool … Led her Baton Rouge Soccer Club team to the Louisiana Club State Championship in 2005 … Finished a decorated career at Central Lafourche High School with an outstanding senior season in 2005 … Was named LHSAA First-Team Class 5A All-State, First-Team All-District 6-5A and District 6-5A MVP as a senior … Was a four-time all-district selection in her high school career.
