As captain, she led Mount Carmel High School as the top defender on the team and earned the accolade of All-District Most Valuable Defender from 1998-2000… Named the NSCAA/Adidas High School Girls’s Player of the Year in 1999… Named to the Louisiana All-State team twice, All-Metro in 1998 and All-Orleans in 1999-2000… Member of the Olympic Development Team for Louisiana… Helped lead her team to the District Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2000… During her senior season, she was the third leading scorer and top defender on the team.
