Austin on the road during the non-conference season … Also saw action in SEC games at No. 8-ranked Florida on Oct. 20 and No. 23-ranked Kentucky on Oct. 27 late in the season … Earned her fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2012)
A reserve defensive midfielder who saw action in 13 matches during her junior season … Earned two starts during the non-conference season in a 2-1 win over Stephen F. Austin and 1-1 draw with Rice … Cracked the playing rotation in five matches during SEC play, including home fixtures against Auburn and Arkansas and road matches at Missouri, Ole Miss and South Carolina … Also saw action in LSU’s first-round match against Ole Miss at the SEC Tournament … Attempted four shots with one shot on goal on the campaign … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second-straight season … Earned her third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011)
Made 17 appearances in 22 matches for the Tigers as a sophomore in 2011 … Saw action as a defensive midfielder after playing as both a defensive midfielder and center back during her true freshman season in 2010 … Helped the Tigers claim their fourth SEC Western Division championship and NCAA Tournament berth in five seasons … Also helped the Tigers earn a runner-up finish in the final SEC standings for the third time in four seasons with their 13-8-1 overall record and 8-3 mark for 24 points in league play … Contributed to a defensive unit that finished the season with a 1.24 goals against average while allowing 28 goals to opponents during the 2011 season … Also helped the Tigers pitch eight shutouts on the season …Attempted four shots with two shots on goal on the offensive end … Honored for her outstanding performance in the classroom with her first career selection to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned her second varsity letter with the Tigers.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2010)
A defensive standout who started all 21 games for the Tigers as a true freshman in 2010 … Opened the season as LSU’s starting center back … Moved up into the defensive midfield for the first time against 10th-ranked BYU … Helped the Tigers battle the Cougars to a 0-0 draw in a match played in Provo, Utah … Established herself as one of the SEC’s premier defensive midfielders with her effort as a freshman … Demonstrated a tremendous ability to win balls in the air on punts and goal kicks by opposing goalkeepers … Helped the Tigers’ finish the season with one of the premier defensive units in the SEC … A leader of LSU’s defensive unit that finished the season with a 0.72 goals against average while tying the school’s single-season record by allowing just 16 goals in 21 matches … LSU finished the 2010 season ranked No. 1 in goals allowed and No. 3 in goals against average in the SEC … Attempted a total of 12 shots with three shots on goal on the campaign … Selected to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll during the spring of 2011 … Earned her first varsity letter.
