Appeared in 17 games in her first year as a Tiger, earning the start in 10 … recorded two assists, both coming in a 6-0 win over Texas A&M Commerce … took five shots on the year, three being on goal … played the full 90 minutes in three matches against Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas A&M … played a total of 1,003 minutes in her rookie season.

A four star recruit by Top Drawer Soccer … Swierenga is a Colorado native who played for Real Colorado 05 Girls National and has earned Elite Club National League (ECNL) First Team Honors two years in a row in 2021 and 2022 … The defender has appeared in the US Soccer Youth National Team Pools, having been selected at the U.S. 17 WNT level as well as for US Soccer YNT Regional ID Centers … Attended Lutheran High School where she earned First-Team All State.
