Junior Season (1999)
Saw action in nine games with four starts … Came up huge in the first start of her career, stopping 14 shots in the Tigers’ 2-1 victory over eventual SEC West champion Ole Miss on Sept. 12 … The Ole Miss victory concluded a solid weekend in which she came in in the second half of the Tigers’ match-up with Mississippi State two nights earlier and preserved the shutout, stopping four shots in LSU’s 2-0 victory … Posted a team-best 2.65 goal against average in SEC games, seeing action in six of the nine league contests … Came up with eight saves and was strong in the Tigers’ 1-0 loss at Alabama on Oct. 15.

Came to LSU after a strong two-year career at South Alabama in which she earned All-Big South honors and was a Big South Tournament selection … In 21 games in 1997 she stopped 87 shots and registered a 1.14 goals against average … Recorded a school record eight shutouts during the 1997 season … In 1998 she started 17 games and posted 61 saves with a 1.47 goals against average and five shutouts … Was the Big South Player of the Week (Nov. 1, 1998) and earned second team All-Big South honors in 1998 … For her career, she recorded 13 shutouts, a 1.28 goals against average and 146 saves while at South Alabama … Was president of USA’s Student Athletic Advisory Council … Prior to attending USA, she was a four-year letter winner in both soccer and softball at Woodham High School in Pensacola Fla. … Also earned two letters in volleyball … Majoring in kinesiology .
