REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON (2025)
Appeared in seven games and made three starts as the designated player…she had an RBI single in her first at-bat of the season against Charlotte (Feb. 8)…drew a season-high two walks and scored a run against UL Lafayette (March 11).
In three seasons with the Tigers, Peterson started in 53 games and played in 64 total games…she hit .205 with 17 hits, including four doubles and one home run, scored 17 runs and had five RBI…drew 22 walks and registered a .421 on-base percentage…had a career .958 fielding percentage with 92 putouts, 91 assists and eight errors.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Appeared in three games before missing the rest of the season due to injury…. Drew an RBI walk and scored one run in her first game of the season against Memphis (Feb. 9).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023)
Redshirt season.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2022)
Saw action in 54 out of 57 games, including 50 starts at second base … Logged a .213 batting average and a .410 on-base percentage behind 16 hits, three RBI, two doubles, one triple and one home run in her 75 appearances at the plate … Recorded her first career home run in the first game against Georgia on April 22 where she also logged a season-high two hits … Strong defensive player with a .958 field pct, 92 putouts and 91 assists.
HIGH SCHOOL
A two-time first-team all-league performer at Franklin High School in California … also a two-time Defensive Player of the Year … as a sophomore she hit .486 with 22 runs scored, 10 RBI, four home runs and a .945 slugging percentage … as a freshman she had a .628 batting average with 31 runs scored, 25 RBI and a 1.162 slugging percentage … also, a four-time honor roll student … played club ball for Sorcerer Old Skool..ranked 35th among the nation by Extra Inning Softball and No. 31 at her position.
