2023-24 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll

FRESHMAN SEASON (2024) 

Appeared in 40 games while starting 32 at second and third base along with ending the season as the team’s designated hitter. Posted a .300 average with a .333 slugging percentage behind 27 hits and 22 runs scored with two extra-base hits. Hit a season-high 3-for-3 with three runs against Austin Peay (Feb. 24). Had eight multi-hit games, including three consecutive multi-hit showings in the SEC series over Kentucky (Mar. 8-10)… The infielder had 21 putouts with 34 assists.

HIGH SCHOOL

A four-year letterwinner at Seton Catholic Preparatory… Is a two-time Arizona Conference Offensive Player of the Year and was the 2021 Region Player of the Year …As a senior, batted .615, logged a .684 on-base percentage and stole 22 bases…Team was honored as the 2022 AIA Sportsmanship Award Winners for class 4A… Played club ball for the Arizona Storm and is a two-time participant in the PGF Future All-American Futures Team …Club team won the 2023 So Cal Athletics Invitational… Daniel is ranked T-No. 7 recruit by Extra Inning Softball.
