2024 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)

Made 14 appearances with three starts as a designated hitter… Had two hits with three runs scored with 5 walks. Her first hit of the season was her first home run in her career, and she drove in a career-high three RBI at Nicholls (Mar. 26).

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
Appeared in 16 games and started six games at second base or as the designated player … Recorded four hits, three RBIs and scored four runs … Had a career-high two RBIs against nationally ranked Tennessee (March 19) and roped her first career triple against Prairie View A&M (May 19).

HIGH SCHOOL

A utility player who played for Marietta High School where she was a three-time All-Region selection…batted above .400 in each of her high school seasons and led her team to their first-ever state playoff appearance in 2019 as a freshman…In 2022, Walker turned in a .578 batting average and registered a .661 on-base percentage…plays for the Lady Dukes travel ball organization but gained most of her travel ball experience with the East Cobb Bullets, previously playing multiple summers with the organization…recorded a .546 on-base percentage and hit 19 home runs to contribute to her .492 batting average, 1.047 slugging percentage and 40 RBIs in summer 2021…ranked T- No. 16 according to Extra Inning Softball.

 PERSONAL

Born Sept. 10, 2004…daughter of George and Demetria Walker…has a sister named Mckenzie who runs track at Georgia State…plans to major in Forensics Science.
