JUNIOR SEASON (2020) – Season was cut short due to the coronavirus
She saw action in six out of 24 games this season as a pinch hitter and second baseman … Goff tallied six at bats this season and recorded 2 hits with an average of .333 … She also accounted for two runs for the Tigers.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019)
Made six appearances with a total 7.0 innings pitched on the season, finishing with a 2-0 record… Had her first career strikeout and first career win against South Carolina (March 29).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2018)
Goff served primarily as a pinch hitter in her freshman season … she appeared in 12 games for the Tigers and started one at the Designated Player position against Southern Utah (Feb.17th) where she came to the plate with the bases loaded, and recorded her first hit of her college career in a double that scored three runs … on the year she had 12 at-bats scored three runs and had four RBI with a .429 on-base percentage.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three-sport athlete at Northridge High School … Was a four-year letterwinner in softball for head coach Giesse… During her prep career, she was a First Team All-District selection, All-Area honoree and was named the team Offensive MVP… In her junior season, she hit over .350, was hit-by-pitch over 20 times… Was a First Team All-District volleyball player and a First-Team All-Region and All-Tournament selection… Helped lead her volleyball team to a District Championship her junior season.

Full name is Kara Alexia Goff, born March 9 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri… Parents are Greg and Tina Goff… Father Greg is currently a volunteer assistant baseball coach at Purdue… He played baseball at Delta State, while mother Tina was on the swim team at Delta State…Has three younger siblings, Kiley, Kolby and Kenzie… Plans to major in animal science.
