Played in 10 games as a sophomore, making six starts in the infield at third base for the Tigers… Had an RBI and scored twice, getting walked eight times to finish with a .583 on-base percentage and .286 slugging percentage… Opened the season with hits in each of her first three games… Was 1-for-3 in the opener against Texas (Feb. 6)… Went 1-for-1 with a run scored against Murray State to go along with three walks (Feb. 8)… Was 1-for-1 with an RBI against Central Arkansas with a stolen base (Feb. 9)… Scored once with two walks against George Washington (Feb. 15)… Went 1-for-2 against Auburn, earning a single in the final inning of the game (March 9)… Was walked twice against ULM (April 1).

Tallied 13 appearances which included four starts between designated player (3) and third base (1) … LSU won all four games that Smith started … Notched a .167 batting average (3-for-18) with a RBI … Turned in a 2-for-4 performance with a run scored and a RBI versus Hampton (Feb. 9) … Scored a run during LSU’s two-run fourth inning versus Penn State (March 2) … Picked up a pinch-hit single during game one of the Georgia Southern doubleheader (March 19)  … Drew a walk and scored a run at Arkansas (April 5) in her first SEC appearance … Scored as a pinch runner at Georgia (May 3).

Daughter of Ken and Laurie Smith … Born on October 20, 1993 … Has four siblings: Ken (25), Ashley (20), Krystal (19) and Brian (15) … Sister, Krystal, is a junior on the Kentucky softball team … Majoring in sport administration with a concentration in commerce.
