Zach Jermain Season 2025
Zach Jermain, the Director of Player Performance and Analytics and Assistant Coach, is in his second season with Beth Torina’s staff.
Hailing from Missouri, Zach’s journey began as a manager with the University of Missouri, where he worked with the softball team from 2014 to 2017. He graduated in December 2017, completing undergraduate work with a double major in mathematics and physics.
Zach joined the LSU softball program as a graduate manager during the 2018-20 seasons. He completed his master’s degree in mathematics at LSU in May 2020 and earned his PhD at LSU in 2024, specializing in Material Science and Plasmonic Metamaterials.
Zach played with the Fargo Kegel Knights as a catcher and outfielder from 2017 to 2020. Zach and his wife, Amanda, were married in December of 2024 and reside in Baton Rouge.
