Matt Karin Season 2025

Matt Karin has worked as the LSU Softball video coordinator since January of 2017. Karin works directly with the LSU coaching staff to prepare videos of practice and games for scouting and game preparation. He also conceptualizes and creates motivational videos and social media content.

Under Karin’s direction, the LSU Softball social media accounts have grown to be the fourth-most followed college softball accounts in the nation.

Prior to joining the staff in Baton Rouge, Karin worked as a video intern for the Atlanta Falcons and a Still Photo Technician for the NFL during the 2016 season. The Byfield, Massachusetts, native earned his bachelor of arts degree in telecommunications and film from the University of Alabama in May 2016. During his time in Tuscaloosa, Karin worked as a student assistant for the Alabama football team and served as an intern for the Olympic Sports Video Services department from 2013-16.
