SENIOR SEASON (2012-13)
Held a 4-3 record in singles and 9-16 in doubles dual match play … Appeared primarily on Court 6 and Court 4 in singles and on Courts 1 and 2 in doubles … Partnered with Tam Trinh and Olivier Borsos for the majority of the season … Ranked as high as No. 84 in doubles with partner Olivier Borsos … Went 6-7 in fall singles and 5-4 in doubles … Competed in the ITA All-American Championships, the ITA Southern Regional, the Conference Challenge in College Station, and the Key Biscayne Invitational … Biggest victory of the season was a doubles match with Borsos where they defeated then-No. 21 Chip Cox and Tsvetan Mihov of South Carolina 9-8(4) … Was named one of LSU’s Student Athletes of the Month for April … Earned his fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2011-12)
Went 1-1 in singles and 10-12 in doubles dual match play… Appeared on both Courts 2 and 3 in doubles … Partnered with Stefan Szacinski for the majority of the season … Notched a 5-3 fall doubles record and a 2-4 singles mark …Competed in the ITA Southern Regional, the Rice Invitational and the Southern Intercollegiate … Earned third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010-11)
Posted an 8-3 singles record in addition to an 18-17 doubles mark…Competed only in doubles during the spring season…Teamed primarily with Stefan Szacinski in doubles dual competition and finished 7-10 on Court 2 and 3-3 on Court 3…Finished the season strong as he and Szacinski went 2-0 in doubles at the NCAA Regional in College Station, Texas…Defeated Indiana’s Stephen Vogl and Josh MacTaggart 8-6 in the first round before taking down Texas A&M’s 66th-ranked Junior Ore and Alexey Grigorov 8-6 in the second round…Etched a 8-3 singles record and 6-3 doubles mark in the fall…Ended the fall winning five out of seven matches at the USF Fall Invitational…Earned second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2009-10)
Earned an overall 4-3 singles record and a 6-16 doubles mark … Debuted at No. 67 in doubles rankings with Neal Skupski (March 30) … Defeated then-16th-ranked Alexander Lacroix and Antoine Benneteau with Skupski, 8-6 …Won his first match as a Tiger at the Rice Invitational against Rice’s Andy Wang in straight sets, 7-6, 6-4 … Notched a 2-1 fall record in singles … Earned first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Ranked as highly as No. 16 in Texas Boys Super 18s and No. 12 in Texas Boys Super 16s … Won two National Open doubles titles as a junior (2007,2008).
