Named team captain … Earned second-team All-SEC honors for the second-straight year … Named Co-SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year … Selected to the SEC Community Service Team … Received the Southeast Regional ITA/Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship … Received first-team All-Louisiana honors … Named to the SEC Honor Roll … Compiled a 16-5 dual record, including an outstanding 10-0 at home … 10 of his dual wins were in straight sets … Opened the dual season on a 10-match win streak and only lost four sets during that stretch … Tied for the team lead in conference wins with eight … Third on the team in doubles wins with 19 … Clinched LSU’s win in the first round of the SEC Tournament against Mississippi State by defeating Chris Doerr, 6-3, 6-4 … His biggest win was against ITA All-American Luis Flores of Georgia, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 … Picked up his biggest doubles win when he and partner Jan Zelezny defeated fourth-ranked and top-seeded Jonas Berg and Erling Tveit of Ole Miss, 8-2, in the round of 16 in SEC Coaches’ Indoor Championships … Achieved a No. 53-ranking in the Fila Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason rankings … Posted a 5-5 record in singles and 4-4 record in doubles during the fall … Earned his fourth varsity letter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2006-07)
Named the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year … Received second-team All-SEC honors … Named the LSU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year … Compiled a 23-10 record in singles and 23-13 record in doubles … Received first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors … The former walk-on started the season 8-0 and only lost one set during that streak … Biggest win of his career came against the No. 35-ranked Devin Mullings of Ohio State on Feb. 24 … Clinched LSU’s 4-3 victory against No. 30 Tennessee … He and partner Jan Zelezny defeated Georgia’s Jamie Hunt and Nate Schnugg in the SEC Tournament, the team that won the U.S. Open Junior Doubles Championship … In the fall, reached the Round of 16 of the Wilson/ITA Region III Indoor tournament … Teamed up with Eric DeRoche to win the doubles bracket at the Ragin’ Cajun Classic … Earned third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005-06)
Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete … Compiled a 5-8 record in singles and 3-1 in doubles … Helped the Tigers to a 7-4 conference record that included the clinching win against Tennessee’s Adam Hubble in LSU’s SEC regular-season opener (3/3/06) … Saw limited action in the fall … Played in only the Ragin’ Cajun Invitational … Split 1-1 in singles matches … Earned second varsity letter.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2004-05)
Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete … Went 14-7 in singles and 3-6 in doubles … Had most singles wins of any Tiger in the 2004 fall season, going 9-5 … Played his way into main draw of the ITA Southeast Regional Championships … Was 3-2 in doubles with Paul White … Received first varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2003-04)
Walked on to the team in the fall and received a redshirt.

PRIOR TO LSU
Was a four-sport star at Archbishop Rummel HS, lettering in tennis, baseball, basketball and golf … Named all-district and academic all-state and reached the state finals in tennis … Averaged 20 points per game in basketball and was named to the all-district team twice … Led his tennis team to a district championship and was on district and state championship baseball teams.
