Joined the Tigers at the beginning of the 2006-07 season after transferring from Colorado … Made his presence known in his first year as a Tiger as he was named the 2007 Louisiana Newcomer of The Year and received first-team All-Louisiana honors … Succeeded in the classroom as well as he was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete the two years he was a Tiger … Compiled a team-best 8-3 conference record as a junior … Received a degree in business finance and was working to get his masters in accounting during his senior year … Finished his LSU career with a 41-30 record in singles and 34-25 mark in doubles.

SENIOR SEASON (2007-08)
Named to the SEC Honor Roll … Posted a 20-18 singles record while playing among the top two spots … Compiled a 15-12 mark in doubles … Finished the season ranked No. 110 in the singles rankings and was ranked as high as No. 88 … Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the second-straight year … Notched four victories against ranked opponents … Picked up the biggest singles win of his career when he defeated seventh-ranked Justin Kronauge of Ohio State in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1 … Picked up his biggest doubles win when he and partner Kevin Dessauer defeated fourth-ranked and top-seeded Jonas Berg and Erling Tveit of Ole Miss, 8-2, in the round of 16 in SEC Coaches’ Indoor Championships … Finished the fall season tied, along with Sebastian Carlsson, with a team-best 10 wins … Earned second varsity letter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2006-07)
Named Louisiana Newcomer of the Year … Received first-team All-Louisiana honors … Named to the SEC Honor Roll … Finished the season with a 21-12 record in singles and 19-13 record in doubles … Owned a team-best 8-3 record in conference play … Was dominant at home as he compiled a 12-1 record at the “Dub” … He and partner Kevin Dessauer defeated Georgia’s Jamie Hunt and Nate Schnugg in the SEC Tournament, the team that won the U.S. Open Junior Doubles Championship … Defeated No. 60 Justin Kronauge of Ohio State, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5, on Feb. 24 … Picked up his first win as a Tiger against Tulsa’s Diego Camacho, 6-3, 6-4, at the Rice Invitational … Advanced to the qualifying round of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships …Rreceived first varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005-06 at Colorado)
Named the University of Colorado’s most complete student-athlete and the 2005 and 2006 Tim Kullick Academic Excellence award winner … Was ranked No. 111th by the ITA from March 11-18 … Was a two-time CU Athlete of the Week recipient (Sept. 18-25, Mar. 12-19) … A key ingredient leading CU to their highest national ranking ever (No. 23) … 2005-06 Academic All-Big 12 Academic first team selection … 2006 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll … In the fall, reached the Flight A semifinals at the Denver Invitational (Sept. 23-25) with three consecutive wins, also earned CU Athlete of the Week honors (Sept. 19-25) … Also reached the main draw Round of 32 at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships in Tulsa (Oct. 3-5) where he defeated two nationally ranked players (No. 56 Chris Brandi, Florida; and No. 88 Peter Rodrigues, Duke) … Earned varsity letter at Colorado.
