SOPHOMORE SEASON (2013-14)
Competed in all tournaments and dual matches for the Tigers in his sophomore season … Solid competitor for LSU, going 5-5 in singles when competing against ranked teams … Clinched two matches for the Tigers, which included the 2014 SEC Tournament 4-2 first-round victory over No. 55 Arkansas … Went undefeated in doubles during the dual season going 4-0 on court 3 … Earned a 20-13 overall singles record … Went 15-7 in singles during the dual season … Competed primarily on courts 4, 5 and 6 in singles … Went 6-3 on court 4 and 6-4 on court 6 … Finished the dual season winning three of his last four singles matches … Earned his second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2012-13)
Notched an 8-8 record in singles and held a 2-1 mark in doubles in his freshman campaign … Competed primarily on Court 6 in singles, but also appeared on Courts 3, 4 and 5 … Appeared on Courts 2 and 3 for doubles … Made his collegiate dual-match debut on February 14 against then-No. 56 Rice where he defeated Leif Berger 6-2, 7-5 … Picked up two big victories on the road against SEC opponents, including then-No. 25 Vanderbilt’s Rhys Johnson and then-No. 11 Texas A&M’s Behzad Minavi … Competed in the ITA All-American Championships, ITA Southern Regional, Conference Challenge, and Key Biscayne Collegiate Invitational … Earned his first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Ranked as a four start and the No. 35 player in the nation for the class of 2012 by Tennis Recruiting Network … Ranked No. 1 in the state of Georgia for the 18s division and was ranked as high as No. 6 in the entire southern section in 18s division singles … Won the 2011 Georgia State Closed Qualifying Championship singles title … Was homeschooled.
