Competed in all tournaments and 27 of 28 dual matches for the Tigers in his first season … Finished the dual season with a 14-6 record in doubles, winning eight of his final 10 matches … Played on all three courts in doubles with four different partners … Went 22-16 overall in singles … Finished with a 13-9 singles record in the dual season … Played most singles matches of the dual season on Courts 2, 3 and 4 … Went 6-4 on court 2, 3-3 on court 3 and 3-2 on court 4 … Earned his first varsity letter at LSU.

He notched a 16-5 overall singles record for the 2012-13 season at the University of Texas, going 7-2 in dual-match play … He went 1-0 on Courts 1 and 4, 2-0 on Court 5, and 3-2 on Court 6 … He amassed a 4-7 overall doubles record, notching a 1-4 dual-match record … He earned his first varsity letter … Transferred to LSU in the summer of 2013.

Ranked as high as No. 7 nationally among high school seniors … Won the boys’ 16 doubles draw at the 2010 USTA Boys’ National Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich. … Reached the singles semifinals at the 2010 USTA Winter National Championships … Won the boys’ 18 division singles title at the age of 16 at the Texas Sectional Championships … Won the 2011 USTA Texas Sectional event in Waco, Texas … 2011 Texas UIL 5A state singles champion.
