SENIOR SEASON (2015-16)
Amassed 10 singles wins, nine in the dual season, along with a 14-10 doubles record during his senior season … Collected four wins on both courts five and six where he split time during the majority of the season … Tied Justin Butsch with a team-high four clinched matches and had three wins over conference opponents including Vanderbilt’s Alex Ross, Mississippi State’s Trevor Foshey and Auburn’s Brandon Laubser … Clinched LSU’s match at Vanderbilt with his thrilling 6-1, 6-7, 6-2 three-set victory against Ross … Secured consecutive matches for the Tigers with with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 win against Tom Hands of Drake and a 6-3, 3-6 6-4 win against Zach Goldberg of North Florida … Clinched the match point in the ITA Kickoff with a 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-3) win against Strahinja Rakic of Mississippi State … Partnered with Gabor Csonka to provide solid competition on court three for the Tigers … Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the second consecutive season after maitaining a 3.6 GPA … A member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Graduated in May 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing … Earned his third varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2014-15)
Korinek picked up eight singles win along with a 7-6 doubles record in his junior campaign … Went 4-2 on court six where he saw the most of his court time … Earned second varsity letter … ITA Scholar Athlete … SEC Academic Honor Roll
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2013-14)
Competed in all tournaments and 27 of 28 dual matches for the Tigers in his first season … Finished the dual season with a 14-6 record in doubles, winning eight of his final 10 matches … Played on all three courts in doubles with four different partners … Went 22-16 overall in singles … Finished with a 13-9 singles record in the dual season … Played most singles matches of the dual season on Courts 2, 3 and 4 … Went 6-4 on court 2, 3-3 on court 3 and 3-2 on court 4 … Earned his first varsity letter at LSU.
PRIOR TO LSU
He notched a 16-5 overall singles record for the 2012-13 season at the University of Texas, going 7-2 in dual-match play … He went 1-0 on Courts 1 and 4, 2-0 on Court 5, and 3-2 on Court 6 … He amassed a 4-7 overall doubles record, notching a 1-4 dual-match record … He earned his first varsity letter … Transferred to LSU in the summer of 2013.
