SOPHOMORE SEASON (2002-03)
Self saw action in two tournaments and posted a 77.5 stroke average … Lowest round of the season was a 2-over par 74 which he shot in the final round of the LSU Spring Invitational … Also appeared in the Windon Memorial Classic and finished in 64th place … Earned his first varsity letter.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2001-02)
Self participated in three tournaments last season as a redshirt freshman … Played seven rounds and had one round of par or better … Posted a 76.1 stroke average … Had one top-20 finish … Made the lineup for the Tigers’ first tournament of the season, the Cleveland Golf/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate and shot an 11-over par 227 to tie for 57th place … Fired a 1-under 71 in the lone round at the LSU Spring Invitational … Earned his first varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2000-01)
Did not see competitive action and took a medical redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL
Led Bradshaw High School to back-to-back state titles in 1999 and 2000 … Three-time first team All-State selection from 1998-2000.

Parents are Hank and Laura Jane Self … Has one brother, Wesley and a sister, Caroline.
