Played in three tournaments with the Tigers during the 2013 fall season … Fired a season-low tournament score of 1-under par 215, including a 5-under 67 in the first round and a 3-under 69 in the third round, to tie for third place overall at the David Toms Intercollegiate held at LSU’s University Club in Baton Rouge … Featured in LSU’s season opener at the Carpet Capital Collegiate Classic, posting a 7-over par 223 in three rounds to tie for 37th place in the event held at The Farm Golf Club in Rocky Face, Georgia … Wrapped up the fall season by tying for 66th place at the Isleworth Collegiate Classic at Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, Florida, with a final score of 16-over par 232 in his final event as an LSU Tiger.
JUNIOR SEASON (2012-13)
One of the nation’s premier players once again during his junior season in 2012-13 … Earned Second-Team All-SEC and PING All-Southeast Region honors for the second-straight season … A First-Team All-Louisiana performer by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association … Finished the season as the No. 78-ranked player in the country in the final Golfweek Individual Player Rankings following the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships … A member of LSU’s five-man starting lineup in all 13 tournaments during the 2012-13 season … One of three Tigers to tee it up in all 13 events on the season, joining All-American Curtis Thompson and Stewart Jolly … Ended the season with a 73.34 scoring average in 38 rounds played on the campaign … Was the team’s second-leading scorer on the year … Played 15 rounds at par or better to also rank second on the squad … Led the Tigers with three top-five and five top-10 finishes in his 13 tournament starts … Earned top-20 finishes in 10 of his 13 tournament appearances in 2012-13 … Won his second career tournament title with a win at LSU’s David Toms Intercollegiate held Oct. 6-7 during the fall season … Posted a winning 54-hole score of 4-over par 220 in the event held at the University Club in Baton Rouge … Fired a season-low tournament score of 8-under par 208 in a runner-up finish at the Argent Financial Classic during the spring season … Carded a season-low 5-under 67 in the first round followed by scores of 3-under 69 in the second round and even-par 72 in the final round at the Argent Financial Classic held at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La. … Opened his spring season by tying for fifth place at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate with a tournament score of 1-over par 217 in the event held at Magnolia Grove Falls Golf Course in Mobile, Alabama … Ended the fall season by tying for ninth place at the prestigious Isleworth Collegiate Invitational with a score of 3-over 219 … Added a fifth top-10 finish during the 2013 spring season by tying for seventh place at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate with another score of 3-over 219 … Helped lead the Tigers to a third appearance at the NCAA Championships in four seasons … Tied for 116th place at the NCAA Championships held at the Crabapple Course at Capital City Club in Atlanta, Georgia … Tied for 51st place at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional held at the University Club with a score of 17-over par 233 … Opened the championship season by tying for 47th place at the SEC Championships after posting a score of 14-over 224 at Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside Course in St. Simons Island, Georgia … Also made appearances at the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate (t16) and Carpet Capital Collegiate Classic (t40) during the fall season and the Louisiana Classics (t11), John Hayt Invitational (t20) and Aggie Invitational (t40) during the spring season.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011-12)
Enjoyed a breakout sophomore season as one of the elite performers in all of college golf … Finished the 2011-12 season as the No. 66-ranked player in the country in the final Golfweek rankings … Recognized as a Second-Team All-SEC and PING All-Southeast Region performer with his breakout season … Joined senior Sang Yi as the only Tigers to appear in all 12 tournaments in 2011-12 … Slashed nearly two full strokes off of his freshman scoring average with a 72.50 stroke average in 34 rounds played on the campaign … Captured his first collegiate victory at the Louisiana Classics as he led the Tigers to the team title with a career-low 54-hole score of 10-under par 206 at Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette … Fired back-to-back rounds of 4-under 68 before wrapping up the Louisiana Classics title with a 2-under 70 in the final round … Earned the title as the SEC Men’s Golfer of the Week following his victory … Followed his performance at the Louisiana Classics by earning consecutive top-10 finishes at the Argent Financial Classic (t6), Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (t9) and LSU National Invitational (t3) … Fired scores of 2-under 214 at the Argent Financial Classic and 4-under 212 at the LSU National Invitational to help guide the Tigers to the team title in each event … Posted an even-par 216 at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate … Tied for 42nd place at the 2012 SEC Championships with a score of 10-over 220 … Helped lead the Tigers to their fifth-straight NCAA Regional appearance … Tied for 55th place at the 2012 NCAA Palo Alto Regional with a score of 8-over 218 … Fired the lowest round at the LSU vs. Centenary stroke play match with a 4-under 68 during the fall season … Also earned top-20 finishes during the fall campaign at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational (t12), David Toms Intercollegiate (t17) and Isleworth Collegiate Invitational (t16) … Kicked off the season by tying for 50th place at the Carpet Capital Collegiate Classic … Also saw action at the John Hayt Invitational, where he tied for 27th place in the spring opener … Named a First-Team All-Louisiana performer by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association following the season … Took home his second varsity letter with the Tigers.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2010-11)
Made an immediate impact for the Tigers as a true freshman while making eight tournament appearances in 2010-11 … One of the top freshman talents in the SEC … Posted a 74.08 scoring average in 24 rounds played during his freshman campaign … Nine of his 24 rounds were at par or better … Earned one top-10 finish and three top-20 finishes on the year … Finished in eighth place at the LSU National Invitational held April 2-3 at the University Club after posting a 5-over par 221 in three rounds in LSU’s regular-season finale … That includes two rounds of even-par 72 in the first and second rounds … Made his first career start at the SEC Championships, where he posted a 13-over 223 at the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia, to finish in a tie for 36th place overall … Made his collegiate debut at the Squire Creek Invitational held Oct. 4-5 at Squire Creek Invitational in Choudrant, Louisiana … Finished in a tie for 16th place in his debut after posting a 9-over par 225 at the par-72 layout, including a season-low 3-under par 69 in the second round … Followed by earning a second-straight top-20 finish at the David Toms Intercollegiate held Oct. 18-19 at the Country Club of Louisiana … Tied for 16th place at the David Toms Intercollegiate while playing as an individual … Fired a season-low tournament score of 2-under par 214 at the CCLA, including back-to-back rounds of 2-under 70 in the second and third rounds … Also cracked the starting lineup in LSU’s team victory at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate held March 27-29 at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina … Finished in 54th place in the event at 11-over par 224, including an opening round of 1-under 70 … Also earned a spot in LSU’s five-man starting lineup at the John Hayt Invitational (Feb. 27-March 1), Louisiana Classics (March 7-8) and Schenkel Invitational (March 18-20) during his debut season … Earned his first varsity letter.

One of the top prep prospects in the state of Texas and one of the elite junior golfers in the country for the Class of 2010 … Ranked among the Top 20 recruits nationally for his signing class, according to the National Junior Golf Scoreboard (15) and Polo Junior Golf Rankings (16) when he signed with the LSU program … Also ranked No. 36 nationally in the Golfweek recruit rankings for the Class of 2010 … Enrolled at LSU after competing in the United States Amateur Championship for the first time in his career … Participated in the 110th edition of the country’s most prestigious amateur tournament at Chambers Bay in Tacoma, Washington, in August 2010 … Also a qualifier for the 2009 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship held at Trump National Golf Club in New York … An active participant in the American Junior Golf Association throughout his prep career … Honored as an AJGA Rolex Junior Honorable Mention All-American following the 2009 season … Earned a total of five top-10 finishes in AJGA sponsored events … Captured one AJGA tournament title in April 2009 with a win at the AJGA Under Armour/Hunter Mahan Championship held at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, where he fired a 5-under par 211 for 54 holes … Finished in a tie for second place in AJGA events on two occasions at the 2007 AJGA Medicus Preseason Junior at Texarkana and the 2008 AJGA Stars of Texas Junior presented by Horseshoe Bay Resort … A product of the golf program at Southwest Christian School under the direction of head coach Danny Hahn … Ended his high school career by leading his team to the state championship in 2010 … Was named the MVP for his high school team three times from 2008-10.
