Walked on to the team in early November 2000, after the injury to Brad Bridgewater … Helped the Tigers depth at practice and was a big part of the team scout squads during his time at LSU.
SENIOR SEASON (2001-2002)
Played in five games for a total of nine minutes against Campbell, Towson, Northwestern State, McNeese State and Nicholls State … Hit two field goal attempts against Northwestern State, including a three pointer, while grabbing two rebounds to go with his five points in two minutes (Dec. 2) … Finished 2-for-5 from the field with 5 total points (1.0 ppg average) and 0.6 rebound average.
JUNIOR SEASON (2000-2001)
Played in a total of seven games for a total of 21 minutes … Played eight minutes and scored his only basket of the season against Nicholls State (Dec. 22) … Averaged 0.3 points and 0.7 rebounds a game … Had two rebounds against Louisiana Monroe (Nov. 20) and three rebounds against Nicholls State (Dec. 22).
PRE-LSU
Attended two junior colleges prior to coming to LSU, originally to attend school, but not play basketball … Played basketball for two years, tennis for four … MVP in tennis for two years and won most improved award in basketball in high school … Averaged 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists in high school … Named San Diego County All-Star.
