FRESHMAN SEASON (2011-12)
Played in 31 contests with two starts … Averaged 14.2 minutes per game … 2.7 points per game, 1.2 rebounds a contest … Scored season high of 13 in season opener against Nicholls State (11/12), hitting 4-of-6 field goals, including two treys and three-of-three free throws with three assists and no turnovers in 19 minutes … Had nine at Auburn (3/3) for his best SEC total and scored seven in the Tigers’ win over No. 10 Marquette (12/19), playing 27 minutes and hitting 3-of-4 field goals … Made 16-of-21 free throw attempts (76.2 percent) and had 33 assists during the season.

Participated in basketball, football and track at Pickering … High school basketball coach was Eddie Thomas … Team won two district championships … Missed junior season with ACL injury … As a sophomore averaged a double double with 18.5 points and 11.5 rebounds … He shot 59 percent from the field and averaged 8.6 assists and 1.8 steals … As a senior averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists and was named the District 4-2A Most Valuable Player, helping Pickering to the No. 4 seed for the playoffs; where they advanced to state quarterfinals … Other than his junior season, he was a starter on the Pickering varsity since the seventh grade … Two-time Vernon Parish Player of the Year and an LSWA All-State selection.
