2000-2002
Earned a scholarship his senior season after walking on as a junior from Trinity Valley Junior College … As a junior was forced to play more minutes because of the injury to Brad Bridgewater … Added depth to the forward position for the 2001-2002 team.
SENIOR SEASON (2001-02)
Wilson saw action in 30 games his senior season for LSU, starting one game … He averaged 10.6 minutes per game, 1.7 points per game and 2.1 rebounds a game … Biggest bucket of senior season was a tip-in in overtime to give LSU a lead it would never relinquish against the Bulldogs, starting LSU on its 7-4 finish over the last 11 games … Season high points was nine against McNeese State on Dec. 15 … Had best of seven rebounds against Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament semis (March 9)
JUNIOR SEASON (2000-01)
Played in all 29 games, starting one, while averaging 3.7 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game and 16.9 minutes a game … Wilson hit 50.6 percent of his field goal attempts (44-of-87) … In the last 10 games of the regular season, Wilson averaged 6.8 points a game and 23.6 minutes a game, raising his season scoring aveage from 2.2 to 3.7 points per game … Had tow games in that span in double figures: the Arkansas game at Fayetteville (Feb. 17) when he made his only start and scored a season high 14 points; the Ole Miss overtime win at home (Feb. 28) when he scored 10 … Had career high nine rebounds at Ole Miss (Feb. 7).
