Started 36 games at Memphis over two seasons before transferring to LSU, where he sat out last season in preparation for his final two years to help the Tigers depth at the guard positions.

Averaged 9.4 points, 4.6 assists and 2.7 rebounds, starting 28-of-31 games as a freshman in 1999-00 … As a sophomore in 2000-01, averaged 5.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists, starting 8-of-20 games … Named to Conference USA’s All-Freshman team, setting a C-USA freshman record with 89 assists in league games … Received the team’s Mr. Hustle award as a sophomore … Had best of 11 assists as a freshman against DePaul and later in the same season against Houston … Career scoring high of 24 points in Memphis’ home win over South Florida.
