LSU
Zach Kendrick
Title
Video Coordinator

Zach Kendrick has proven to be a valuable commodity ever since he joined the LSU basketball program.

He is in his third season with Coach Johnny Jones at LSU and his fourth year in a full-time position on the LSU Basketball staff as Video Coordinator.

Kendrick previously served as a Student Manager for the LSU Basketball program beginning with the 2006-07 season under Coach John Brady. His campaign as a student manager was highlighted by the 2008-09 SEC Championship season as the Tigers won 27 games and made a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

After receiving his B.S. in sports administration, he was named as the team’s Graduate Assistant under Coach Trent Johnson. One season later, he was promoted to a full-time position as Video Coordinator for the Tigers. Among his duties were to coordinate the team’s film exchange program, prepare scouting reports for upcoming opponents, and create video breakdowns of the Tigers’ games and practices.

Among his other duties, Kendrick was in charge of hiring and training the student manager staff at LSU. He also helped coordinate and maintain the recruiting database, carry out the day-to-day-operations of the program and assist with the planning administration of the summer basketball camps at LSU.

The 28-year-old Kendrick continues many of the same roles in his present position but is primarily involved with coordinating  opponent film and scouting reports to formulate game plans designed to prepare LSU for future opponents, as well as breaking down film for self-scouts to ensure team improvement and player development.

Prior to LSU, Kendrick, a native of Jena, Louisiana, was a three-year basketball letterman at Jena High School, earning All-District honors in both his junior and senior seasons.
