Nelson Hernandez Season 2022-23

Nelson Hernandez completed his third year on Head Coach Will Wade’s staff at LSU and his fourth overall season working with Coach Wade.

Prior to coming to LSU, Hernandez served a similar position during the 2016-17 season at VCU. Prior to that he had a one-year tenure as director of player development and administrative assistant at Wright State.

As director of operations, Hernandez assists Coach Wade in administrative areas such as travel and practice and assists with game scheduling just to name a few of a multitude of areas the operations director must be involved in.

Hernandez is well versed in team video needs having worked one season at Clemson, handling video responsibilities for all games during the 2014-15 season there and four seasons (2010-14) as the video coordinator at Utah State. There Hernandez was responsible for all film exchanges, as well as coordinating game day camera operations and videoing practice.
