LeBrent Walker Season 2022-23
After two seasons as a graduate assistant earning his master’s degree while assisting in basketball operations, LeBrent Walker has been named coordinator of basketball operations for the LSU basketball program where he will continue to assist Nelson Hernandez with the many behind the scenes duties that fans never see which helps prepare the team for its daily routine.
Walker came to LSU prior to the 2018-19 season after two seasons as student assistant coach at Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland.
Walker was involved in game scouting reports and planning game strategies for WAU against future opponents.
The native of Queens, New York, also played guard at Washington Adventist for two seasons. Prior to that, he played at Midland College and Central Arizona College which was ranked sixth in the junior college rankings in 2013 with a 30-5 record. Walker prepped at Our Savior New American School in New York. In his basketball playing career recorded 15 career double-doubles, over 650 points, 350 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
Walker earned 3.0 GPA achievement awards at both Washington Adventist and Midland College and earned Dean’s List status at WAU.
