Brian Puckett Season 2024-25
Brian Puckett is in his second season in 2023-24 as the strength and conditioning coach for the basketball LSU Tigers, a position he also held for two seasons at Murray State under Head Coach Matt McMahon.
Puckett is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA.
At Murray State (2020-22), he handled strength and conditioning work for the basketball, golf and tennis programs.

He specialized in working with the defensive line, assisting in the development of agility drills and position-specific work, and contributing to return-to-play efforts by implementing programs that coincided with various injury protocols.
From 2018-20, Puckett worked at his alma mater, North Alabama, where he was the strength and conditioning coach for the men’s basketball program. There, the Lions were one of the first collegiate programs to incorporate genetic testing in a strength and conditioning strategy.
In college, Puckett also interned with the strength and conditioning team for the University of Georgia football program in the summers of 2015 and 2016, and in the summer of 2017 served as an intern with Peak Performance Physical Therapy in Florence, Alabama.
