Served as a team leader throughout the season … Earned her first All-America honor by scoring a 9.875 on bars at the NCAA Championships Semifinal I (4/20), narrowly missing first team recognition by .025 … Anchored the bars lineup most of the season and only competed twice on vault and once on beam because of a foot injury … Had foot surgery after the meet at Arkansas (1/20) and only competed on bars until the final meet of the season … Ranked 24th nationally on bars with a 9.875 RQS and led the Tigers with a 9.825 season average in the event … Captured three bars title with a season-high 9.90 versus North Carolina State (3/2), at Iowa (3/9) and vs. West Virginia (3/16) … Returned to the vault lineup at the NCAA Championships for the first time since the season opener and scored a 9.775 … Became the first Tiger to score a 9.90 on bars during the season as she did it against NC State … Posted a season high of 9.85 on vault at the Cancun Classic (1/6) … Scored a 9.80 or higher in 10 of 12 bars routines.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2011)
Was outstanding in her first season as a Tiger … Earned Second-Team All-SEC and Freshman All-SEC honors by scoring a second-place 9.90 on vault at the SEC Championship (3/19) … Led the team with 12 individual titles during the season – five on bars, four on vault and three in the all-around … Competed in the all-around in 11 of 12 meets … Led the team on bars with a 9.788 average and served as the anchor of the lineup all season … Scored season highs of 9.925 on vault, 9.925 on bars, 9.875 on beam, 9.90 on floor and 39.575 in the all-around … All of her season highs except for her bars score came against Georgia (2/18) … Earned her 9.925 season high on bars versus New Hampshire (3/4) … Ranked 16th nationally on vault with a 9.890 regional qualifying score and ranked 22nd nationally on bars with a 9.870 RQS … Had her best meet of the season against Georgia when she scored a 39.575 all-around total that ranked as the sixth-highest score in the country … Her 39.575 all-around score against Georgia is also the highest all-around score by an LSU freshman since April Burkholder scored a school-record 39.875 in 2003 … Named SEC Freshman of the Week after her stellar performance against Georgia … Won three straight all-around titles against BYU (2/4), Arkansas (2/11) and Georgia … Became the first freshman to compete in the all-around in her first meet at LSU since April Burkholder in 2003 … Second on the team with a 9.838 season average on vault … Tied for fourth in school history on vault and bars with 9.925’s, joining a long list of accomplished LSU gymnasts in each event … Posted a 9.80 or higher in 30 of 46 total routines during the season, including 10 of 12 vaults and 10 of 12 bars routines.
