A floor specialist for the Tigers, she competed on the event during the first seven meets of the season … Turned in her best performance of the year against Florida, scoring a 9.875 … Recorded a 9.850 in the Tigers’ win over Denver … Scored a 9.825 at the season-opening Bahama Breeze Invitational … Scored a 9.725 or higher on six of her seven routines … Finished the year with a season average of 9.786.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2002)
Scored a 9.850 on the floor in her collegiate debut to clinch LSU’s upset win over No. 1 ranked Utah … Followed that performance with career-high 9.925 showing on the floor against Alabama the next week … Her mark of 9.925 earned her the first individual title of her collegiate career as she shared the title with teammate Lauren Companioni … Put together a string of three straight 9.875’s on the floor against Kentucky, Georgia and at a tri-meet with Rhode Island and Centenary … One of the Tigers most consistent floor workers, she did not score below a 9.800 in any of her 10 outings, averaging a score of 9.858 during the 2002 season … Competed once in exhibition on the vault, scoring a 9.700.
