One of the most prolific kickers in LSU history, finishing four years with the Tigers with a school-record 369 points … Connected on 54-of-72 field goals and 201-of-204 PATs during his career … Holds the LSU record for career points scored (369) and PATs (201)  … Holds LSU single-season marks for field goals (26 in 2007), field goals attempts (33 in 2007), points by kicking (141 in 2007) and total points (147 in 2007) … The 147 total points in 2007 is also an SEC single-season mark … Ranks second in school history in field goals (54) and third in field goals attempts (72) … Kicked 18 field goals of 40 yards or more during his career.

SENIOR SEASON (2008)
Earned second-team All-SEC honors from both the Associated Press and the SEC Coaches … Handled all placekicks for the Tigers for third straight year … Connected on 16-of-21 field goals and 43-of-44 PATs … Scored a total of 91 points … Had four field goals of 50-yards or better, including a career-long of 53 yards vs. Georgia Tech in the Chick-fil-A Bowl … Kicked 52-yard field goals in back-to-back games vs. Troy and Ole Miss … Had a 51-yard field goal vs. Georgia, which allowed him to break Kevin Faulk’s school record for points scored of 318 … Tied a career-best with three field goals in regular-season finale at Arkansas (29, 41, and 36 yards) … Became LSU’s all-time scoring leader for a kicker against Auburn with a pair of field goals and two PATs … Missed season-opener against Appalachian State with a minor injury … Kicked at least two field goals in six games (2 vs. North Texas, Auburn, Mississippi State, Troy and Ole Miss; 3 vs. Arkansas.

JUNIOR SEASON (2007)
Has had one of the most successful seasons in school history for a kicker … Handled all of LSU’s placekicks for the second straight year … Ranked second in the SEC and sixth in the country in scoring, averaging 10.5 points a game … Connected on 26 of 33 field goals, both school records … Made all 63 of his PATs … Set the SEC record for points in a season with 147 and for total points scored by kicking with 141 … Capped season by making five straight field goals of 40 yards or longer … Was successful on a career-long 49-yard attempt as well as a 43 yarder versus Alabama … Matched that 49-yard effort versus Arkansas … Was perfect on kicks of 48 and 43 yards against Ole Miss … Scored the first touchdown of his career on a fake field goal attempt – holder and QB Matt Flynn flipped the ball over his shoulder to a sprinting David – who raced untouched 15 yards for the score against South Carolina … David became the first LSU player since Doug Moreau against Tulane in 1965 to score a TD and kick the ensuing extra point … The play was named the week’s Pontiac Game Changing Performance by ESPN … Scored a season-high 16 points on a career-high three made field goals (31, 44, 28) and seven PATs against Middle Tennessee . .. Kicked three field goals in games against Middle Tennessee, Auburn and Kentucky.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006)
Handled all of LSU’s placekicks … Finished the season ranked seventh in the SEC in scoring, averaging 5.7 points per game … Was successful on 50 of his 51 PATs during the year … Only miss came when his fourth quarter attempt against Ole Miss was blocked … Miss snapped a streak of 77 successful PATs, a streak that ranks as the second-longest in school history … Was 8-of-13 on field goals attempts … Sealed the Tigers’ victory against Ole Miss, connecting on a 26-yarder in overtime … Was successful on a career-long 45-yard field goal attempt against Florida … Hit a 44-yarder against Fresno State and was successful from 42 yards out against Auburn … Was responsible for 10 points in the Tigers’ win over Notre Dame in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, successfully connecting on field goals of 25 and 37 yards as well as four PATs.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2005)
Made an immediate impact with the Tigers, handling PAT duties and short-range field goal attempts … Finished the year by making 45-of-46 PATs and was 4-of-5 on field goals … Capped season by making 35-straight PATs … Last PAT miss came in the second half against Mississippi State … Hit a season-long 35-yard field goal in win over Miami in Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl … The 45 PATs ranked as the third-highest single-season total in school history … It also ranked as the second-most in the SEC in 2005 … Other field goals came against Tennessee (31 yards), Mississippi State (30 yards) and Arkansas (26 yards) … The 26-yard field goal against Arkansas proved to be the winning points against the Razorbacks, a victory that put the Tigers into the SEC Championship game.

HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year letterwinner at Grapevine High School … Converted on 27-of-36 field goals during his prep career, with a long of 50 yards … Also served as the team’s punter, averaging 43.7 yards per punt as a senior … Set a school record with an 81-yard punt … Also played on the soccer team … Coached by Scott Blanton.
