JUNIOR SEASON (2000)
Returned to action after missing the entire 1999 season with an injury … Saw action in all 12 games in 2000, registering nine tackles including five unassisted … Credited with a forced fumble … Played a key role on the Tigers’ special teams and earned LSU’s Special Teams Player of the Week following the victory over Ole Miss.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (1999)
Suffered season ending injury during 1999 preseason and spent fall campaign rehabilitating.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (1998)
Played in seven games on special teams … Saw action on kickoff, kickoff return and punt return teams … Made four tackles on the season.
TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (1997)
Made two tackles in season opener against Texas-El Paso, but was injured in third game of season vs. Auburn and missed remainder of season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Named first team All-State by the Texas Sportswriters Association … District offensive MVP in Class 1A … All-district selection as a receiver, rusher, passer, safety, and punter … Totaled 48 receptions for 1,048 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing for 928 yards, and throwing five touchdown passes, with more than 400 yards option passing as a senior … Earned All-District as a junior with 40 receptions, nine of which were touchdowns.
