Key backup on the offensive line who was thrust into starting duty when Will Arnold was injured late in the year … Played in al 13 games in 2003, starting 5 times … Started 5 of LSU’s final 6 games at left guard … Saw first start of season in win over Appalachian State … Kept starting role through the Georgia contest … Played a total of 335 snaps from scrimmage with 6 pins and 31 knockdowns.
JUNIOR SEASON (2004)
Played in 11 games with 5 starts for the Tigers in 2004 … Goes into senior season with 22 appearances and 5 starts … In 2004, started 4 games at left guard and 1 game at right guard … In 491 plays from scrimmage, called for 2 penalties, while allowing 3 sacks … Recorded 3 pancakes to go with 36 knockdown blocks … Had 10 knockdowns in consecutive games against Ole Miss and Arkansas … Did not play against Florida.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2003)
Versatile lineman who played both the guard and tackle positions for the Tigers in 2003 … Saw action in 11 games, all in a backup role … Missed the first three games of the season with a bruised kidney, which he suffered in the final scrimmage of fall camp … Saw action on 268 plays, 41 on special teams, and did not allow a sack and was called for only one penalty … Recorded six pancake blocks and 17 knockdowns … Saw extensive action vs. South Carolina (36 plays) and Louisiana Tech (49 plays).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2002)
Played in five games as a true freshman after an outstanding high school career at Miami-Norland … Listed as LSU’s No. 2 left tackle … Saw action on 46 plays in 2002, including a season-high of 28 against Louisiana-Lafayette.
