Did not see any game action for the Tigers.

Had an outstanding spring and enters the fall in a battle with returning starter Donnie Jones for the starting punting duties for the Tigers … Came out of spring practice listed as the No. 1 punter … Punts with a great deal of consistency and has a knack for downing the ball inside the 20-yard line … Had 15 minutes of fame over the summer as he was a contestant on the Price is Right with Bob Barker … Wearing his LSU Peach Bowl game jersey, was called down, bid his way onto stage and even got to spin the wheel … Came up just short of reaching the Showcase Showdown … Transferred to LSU in 1999 from Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss … Averaged 37 yards on 71 punts in two years at Millsaps College.

Earned letters in four sports at St. Amant High School … Two-time first team all-district selection in 1996 and 1997 as a placekicker and earned second team all-district honors in 1996 and 1997 as a punter … Second team all-state placekicker in 1996 and 1997 and was selected to the Baton Rouge Advocate’s All-Metro team in 1996 … Coached in high school by Doug Moreau.
