Made the switch from offense to defense and was a pleasant surprise for the coaching staff … Heads into 2003 as LSU’s backup at strong safety … Spent his first two seasons with the Tigers as a running back on the offensive side of the ball … Brings toughness along with quickness to the defensive backfield.
